Message Hello fellow Z car enthusiasts,

I'm interested to find out how quick a Z32 (with a manual transmission) can be made to reach 0-60 with the VG30 motor with readily available parts? I have spent a fair chunk of money of modifying my car (£20,000+) but i'm still using an off the shelf EPROM chip and i'm wondering how much further i can take it and if going any further is just chucking money down the drain. I know turbos would make a huge difference but then i'd have an extra £900 to spend on a tune, and a few other costs that would make it a £5K+ upgrade..

My car is identical to this build [ http://specialtyz.com/blog/?p=441 ]
Except for the fact the one in that build has

MT turbos and MT cams - compared to my AT turbo (billet CZP wheel) and AT cams
62mm RobZ throttle bodys (not yet installed) compared to the 58mm Auto turbos with billet wheels and a CZP EPROM + 4.1 diff NA diff compared to the 419whp 93 octane specialtyz build with a nistune custom tune.

My car also has Race logic traction control with full throttle shift / Launch control that should THEORETICALLY make it quicker but I don't know if it actually makes a difference in 0-60 or not as I have never tested it.

All i have left to possibly upgrade is my cylinder heads, turbos, bedplate and custom tune? Is it money wasted - what do you all think?
